Advertisement of Samsung's flexible transparent 3D displays
The Samsung Mobile Display division has released a completely fantastic advertisement for AMOLED displays. It is hard to believe that such devices will appear in the next 20-30 years.
The advertisement shows a mobile device, consisting entirely of a transparent display. It folds in half, rolls into a tube, receives calls, shows video and supports group video chat, downloads content from the Internet, takes pictures, recognizes text (menu in a restaurant) and shows a 3D model of the selected dish, automatically recognizes and translates speech from several foreign languages.

Samsung is planning to start producing flexible transparent AMOLED displays in 2012 and they certainly won't have anything to do with this ad, but it's nice to dream.
