September 30 is the last day for submitting applications for participation in the Runet Prize 2007 competition.
The Runet Award 2007 competition, founded by the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications, is the main competition of the Russian Internet, where the award is given for contributions to the development of the Russian Internet segment.
Leading organizations and projects that have made a significant contribution to the development of the Runet in the past and the current year will be evaluated as part of the award, and special requirements will be presented to them in this connection.
The prize is awarded in six main and one special nominations:
1-state and society
2-culture and mass communication
3-science and education
4-economy and business
5-health and rest
6 technologies and innovations
7-Runet outside RU (special nomination)
During the two-stage voting, the expert committee determines the laureates in each nomination. On the recommendation of the Board of Trustees and the Organizing Committee, the prize is awarded in section “8. Special nomination.

Everyone can take part in this online promotion, which started on June 1 in the framework of the Runet Award 2007 competition. Projects authored by individuals may take part in the All-Russian festival of Internet projects “new reality”.
Regional non-commercial projects are welcome for nomination to the “New Reality” contest.
