Not so long ago I made a game. That is, a toy, rather. Or a playground.
The rules are simple - the first player, for example, writes the text. The second draws a picture to this text. The third - writes that he sees in the picture of the second. And so on. Each player sees only the work of the previous player, while making a move, and after, sees what happened.
In fact - a spoiled phone with pictures and text in turn.

It turns out funny. It is interesting to see how everything changes from move to move, and how it all ends.
The idea is not new - the game has long been known offline , once there was a community in LJ , there is an English-language website for playing games online, not so long ago another extremely simple version appeared, but I will not give you a link to it because everything is teeming with trolls , darkness and horror.
In general, I decided to just make a good game that I would be interested to play. As well as various clever Russian-speaking people who, I know, are.
I started work on November 1, 14 launched. Constantly updated. In general, I have long wanted such a project, which can be constantly improved based on player behavior and feedback.
How I did it. I could tell you what works for django, VDS with nginx + gunicorn, flash draftsman, blah blah blah. But, the most important thing for me was the ability to work on a project alone. Do not think over every little thing in advance, work gradually and methodically. First large items, then smaller. One by one, step by step.
I write a simple to-do list in Notepad ++, in lines, I note what I did, then I put a date on what I did in a day. Thus, progress is clearly visible, and it is pleasant. In general, this is a skill that is pumped over time. I have a few small games behind me, I doubt that otherwise I would have launched this project. And, yes, I had a very modest experience in jango and CSS (I made a website a couple of years ago), but I only heard about setting up the server with the edge of my ear.
In general, the game, as it seems to me, turned out to be more social than the various “farms”.
Since this is not a success story, because it is not there yet, and it is not known whether I will give you the link, and I will take my leave. So far, the toy is launched only in VKontakte, what will happen next - is still unknown. My apologies to those who cannot.
