Notch leaves the post of leading developer Minecraft
The creator of the game Minecraft Markus Persson (Notch) after the official release of version 1.0 writes in a personal blog:
“Since yesterday, Jens Bergensten is the new lead developer of Minecraft. Behind him will be the last word on all key issues in development, so he seems to be my boss now, I guess. I promised him not to crush with authority. ;)
We’ve been working together on Minecraft for a year now, and I’m impressed with how much our views on game development coincide. And if we do not agree, then after discussion the result is much better. It's really convenient to work with him, and I can quite confidently give him the guidance of Minecraft.
