Site owners do not always know in time that malicious code is placed on their site. According to our statistics, in 27% of cases, this code remains on the site for more than six months. Because of this, the site loses the audience and a significant part of the traffic, and visitors' computers are infected with viruses.
Yandex checks more than 21 million pages per day and daily finds malicious code on about three thousand sites where it was not there before. There are more than 430 thousand infected sites in the Safe Search Yandex database, 4.4 million pages. We warn people about dangerous sites in search results, as well as in Opera and Firefox with Yandex . Bar . An equally important task for us is to help the webmaster remove the malicious code from its site as soon as possible and prevent re-infection.

Notification delivery addresses are specified in whois or standard common technical addresses (for example, webmaster @, admin @, support @). In addition, when a site is infected with a domain of a third or higher level, a notification will also be sent to contacts of a second-level domain. Depending on the domain, notifications are sent in those languages that are understood by the recipients.
Each letter contains a link to the formal reply from the notifications. In the future, you can subscribe to notifications again - either by a special link from a letter, or by adding a site to the Yandex.Webmaster service.
