A dozen resources that help to be a designer

Working as a designer is very interesting. This is a creative work. And like any creative person, a designer needs a muse or inspiration.

I am sure that every designer has a set of sites that they periodically visit in order to draw this very inspiration. I also have such a list. And I want to share it with you.

I want to immediately warn you that almost all the resources I collected are in English. Only one in Russian. I also do not really welcome narrow-profile resources (talking about resources where you can download only photoshop brushes and stuff). So let's start:

1. Abduzeedo

Perhaps one of my favorite resources. It has everything you need for inspiration. Selection of sites, free fonts, the section "Daily inspiration" (translated from English. - Daily inspiration) and much more. And not only for designers, but also for artists. 2. Smashing Magazine

Just like the first resource, smashingmagazine is a great blog that contains a wealth of useful information for designers. Among other things, they also publish books (sorry, not all are free and all in English). By the way, I leafed through their books - they are of very high quality! I advise everyone to this resource. Great resource. I first recognized him from an article that had a great selection of amazing tutorials. I also like collections of website designs very much! In general, I love all of their articles that are in the right menu in the “Most Popular” section (translated from English - Most Popular).
