Ukrainian Intel offered schoolchildren and students Intellectualization
Preface: I have no relation either to Intel or to the implementation of this project, but I know people close to the development, and therefore I became interested in a worthy initiative, which I want to tell you about.
In October, on a relatively small Ukrainian web (and even smaller Facebook), it became massively and for once on behalf of real people to spread, as it turned out, a commercial virus called “Think! Hour enter the brain. While users, paying attention to the date of the revision (November 22), discussed who owns the video (November 22 in Ukraine - the anniversary of Maidan), suggesting that the creators of the video are either politicians or Nuts bars, started an interesting project called “Intellectualization” .
This is an initiative of the Ukrainian office of Intel, whose goal is to find, reward, and help "break out into people" not to high school graduates (although they, of course, are sometimes even so sweet!), But rather to young talented schoolchildren and students who have practical ideas improvement of the surrounding reality, for the realization of which they lack something (education, qualifications, money for research and / or implementation). ')
This is cool if only because in an interesting form (I hope, the project that starts January 12, 12 turns out to be no worse) young people start to get involved, whose level of education in Ukraine is far from ideal. And the message of the message “the brain is one of the main tools of a person” also pleases - the mass market, though not “wholly lost,” but maybe someone might think that the future is really in our hands (and every year more and more).
For those who are interested in why the company that manufactures the processors, took up the support of education (however, this is a constant initiative), a small quote from one of the core resources :
Problem:
When choosing a device, the consumer pays less and less attention to the technical characteristics, especially the processor, the ergonomics, appearance and of course the power of the device's brand-manufacturer are coming to the fore.As MMR commented at Intel this is not the observations or conclusions of brainstroming, but there are a number of studies, including those conducted in Ukraine, which confirm this fact. Idea:
To convey to the end user the benefits of using this or that technology. One of the methods is to support active young people, as well as popularize technologies. For several years, Intel has been conducting ISEF in Ukraine - the national stage of an international competition of scientific and technical creativity for schoolchildren.By the way, in recent years, it is our schoolchildren who receive prizes at the finals. This year, the company decided to expand the reach and use popular social media and digital marketing tools as a platform for holding a creative youth competition.
In the comments I propose to reset the links to permanent interesting educational projects. I think the young minds reading Habra, this information will only benefit.
