ARM released Development Studio 5 Community Edition - development environment for Android
ARM released Android development environment yesterday - ARM Development Studio 5 Community Edition, which takes into account the features of ARM microprocessors, the beauty of which lies in the fact that this version has become free, unlike the previously presented commercial version. Of course, the released CE environment contains limited functionality of the commercial version, but all the basic tools for writing and debugging code are fully present - including the standard SDK (Software Development kit) and the NDK kit (Native development kit).
The development environment is customized Eclipse, the development itself is conducted in C ++.
It is argued that programs written using the ARM development environment under similar conditions work 4 times faster than Java code running under similar conditions and written in Eclipse using Google's ADT. ')
