On Habré already flashed an article about Microsoft Surface. It is almost the same, except that EXODesk is not a complete table, but an addition to a desktop computer. It is understood, because Microsoft Surface is more oriented for enterprises (yes, not every average citizen will want to part with $ 10,000 for the next gadget), while EXODesk is for ordinary users. Especially, of course, attracts the price (compared to the equivalent): only $ 1,300.

And what does this miracle of technology offer? As many as 40 inches of interactive work surface! Alas, the developers still do not disclose any other details about the technical side of the issue, but they promise to lift the veil of secrecy as early as January 2012. Some more details. EXODesk 40-inch capacitive IPS-display with a resolution of 1080p, a viewing angle of 178 degrees in both planes and a 10-finger multitouch. There is no computer inside, so the “table” is connected to the computer as a second monitor. On the table you can put the keyboard and mouse, although you can use the on-screen keyboard and an unusually large touchpad. Another interesting option: a physical keyboard (without a digital block) and a mouse, plus an on-screen digital block. That is, you can experiment with controls as you like. In addition to the features already shown with RSS feed management, you can display anything on the display: imitation of a classic table, video with nature, notes, windows with constantly changing graphs, system information, and even games that require a touchscreen display (imagine Angry Birds on 40 inches).
