The schedule allowed me to try to take part in it, which I tried to do. I was on ebay a couple of minutes before the start, went to the hp online store http://stores.ebay.com/hewlettpackard , and saw the sold-out tablets there. Opened all 4 links and waited for this very beginning.

Next to the name of the tablet, the inscription “Sale will start at 6:00 pm CT” proudly flaunted, which seemed to hint that the price would fall from 599 to 149 in just minutes ... seconds ...
After waiting for zero minutes, zero seconds, I refreshed the page a couple of times and on the second I saw the treasured price and pressed the BUY IT NOW button, and then the order confirmation was no less joyful.
But as it turned out - everything was just beginning, here ebay, or rather the process of buying tablets and lay down ... lay down almost forever. More precisely, he lay down for 10 minutes, nothing at all was loaded and did not open, even the tablet profiles showed no signs of life.
Then something happened and everything hung, but only very little!
As I did not try to continue the purchase process, I constantly received several types of errors, in the first place, of course, there was a lot that said:
At a certain point, I even reconnected through the American VPN, suggesting that there they give more capacity, but this did not affect the situation.
Minute by the 20th or later, when I had already refreshed from time to time and read Twitter, I suddenly went to the next stage and the cherished choice than to pay, and after many mistakes at this step, I even got into paypal.com, then switched to ebay and even saw:
16gb tablets for $ 99 have already run out here, but I, like many in parallel, tried to purchase several versions, so this did not seem to interfere
Already was delighted, but when I clicked Confirm order received another bummer:
I repeated this pseudo success several times, but as you understand, this did not add to my happiness, and the WebOS tablet did not bring a tablet at a nice price either).
Now only the question interests, is there all the same we have lucky ones, who managed to do it and buy a Touchpad at the sale?
ps: in the first 20 minutes, all 2,316 16GB tablets were sold, and in just 50 minutes they sold all 8,305 32GB tablets. Total for <60 minutes, hp sold out almost a half million tablets.
