When we started to introduce SCRUM a year ago, our boss brought several decks for planning poker. These were dull pieces of laminated paper, printed and cut in the nearest mine center. It is clear that no pleasure from using them, or simply holding in their hands, was experienced.
Over time, the team grew and eventually it became necessary to replenish the supply of cards, and since I was actively indignant at the quality of the previous series, I had to deal with this issue. What came out of this look under the cut.
Old maps had a number of drawbacks:

')
- unevenly cut;
- thin paper;
- glossy lamination;
- missing shirt;
- translucent front side;
- proportions taken from the ceiling;
- and the complete absence of any individuality.
Taking this craft as a basis and armed with a vector editor together with a google-search for pictures, I began to draw. Initially, I wanted to make a standard design of the deck for everyone and a separate one for myself, in order to show off, but fate in the form of a curious neighbor-japanophile around the office made its own adjustments. As a result, in addition to the standard theme, two more custom ones came out.
Standard deck:
Japanese style deck:
Deck for a loved one:
Little about the process
Color double-sided printing on the thickest paper that was available - more than 300 g / sq.m .; lamination with matte film; cutting on the plotter on a pre-prepared layout. With the print came an annoying nuisance - an incomprehensible hardware shift when printing on the side of the shirts (this can be easily seen in the photos). The rest of the cards turned out beautiful, pleasant and without the above shortcomings of the first batch.
What is the result?
Improving the aesthetic component of the workflow in the office and I hope the quality of work in general. The pleasure of the work done, respect from colleagues, an increase in the CSW - these are all personal profits.
For those who want themselves the same, I post a link to download - use! A better DIY!
PS
Now I looked - on the Internet offer a deck of 700 rubles. In my case, the cost of each is less than 100 rubles - definitely turned out more profitable.
