Microsoft Research invites students, graduate students and all interested in computer vision to the competition for applications for Kinect. To participate in the competition you need to come up with an interesting application of Kinect and submit an application with a brief description of the project by January 15. Until February 28, it is required to develop a prototype of the program based on Kinect for Windows and to prepare a video in English, demonstrating the work of the prototype. The competent jury will select the 5 best works, the authors of which will go to Cambridge (UK) at Microsoft Research School, where they can present their projects and talk with the authors of Kinect technologies. Certificates to the winners will be presented by Vice President of Microsoft Research Connections Tony Hey.
