Unfortunately, the post has already been deleted by the author. “Unfortunately” - because, of course, I want to fight with opponents who don’t hide in the bushes when they realize the growing public response of their actions.

1. Dwar.ru is not the main domain of the project, in early 2010 the project was transferred to the domain dwar.mail.ru, which is the main one. Residual traffic goes to the dwar.ru domain, orders of magnitude smaller than dwar.mail.ru. At the same time, dwar.mail.ru cannot be viewed separately in alexa. Therefore, this example is not correct.
2. Look at the same project schedule by months and by weeks (for a longer period) -

It shows that the current number of visitors is not accidental and is a consequence of the continuous development of the project. Noticeable is also the general trend of audience growth, as well as seasonal outbursts (autumn-winter), which are observed every year. Traditionally, the fall begins an active campaign to promote the project.
This year we started the campaign from the end of October, participation in the popular vote is one of the components of this campaign. In the Legend, more than 15 million registered users, some of whom are not actively playing, but are ready to support the project during the voting and continue to actively play the game on this wave.
I am convinced that winning the Prize depends entirely on the cohesion and activity of the users. Legend: Legacy of the Dragons is one of the first large-scale game projects of the Runet that gathered the elite of the gaming audience around them. The complexity and volume of the game world give rise to strong social ties between the Legend players, which are not limited to the project. Having such an audience, there is no need to resort to unregulated ways to increase the number of votes. Players come and vote themselves.
From year to year we participate in prizes and often win. Every time someone strives to step on our heels and sometimes, in their aspirations, it goes beyond the limits of ethics and common sense. However, from a human point of view, they can be understood - after all, one-day campaigns can be carried out with serious projects only through cheating and trolling.
