Qt Quick: best practices

Good morning, Habr!

We are starting a new series of blog posts dedicated to the best tricks and techniques in the Qt Quick framework, focusing on QML. The entire cycle of posts is written by Michael Hasselman. He works in Openismus and is known for developing a virtual keyboard for the Nokia N9 (MeeGo Harmattan 1.2).

Posts written by Hasselman should demonstrate the best development techniques in Qt Quick by learning how to use basic concepts rationally and how to protect yourself from common mistakes.

Immediately it should be noted that the basic knowledge of Qt Quick in general and QML language in particular, are welcome. An introduction to QML and a small lesson is a great way to refresh or gain this basic knowledge. An introduction to the language can be read briskly during breakfast - this will be enough to understand the series of articles - but you should read the lesson carefully, having fully understood all the details.

A series of posts will begin next week with a study of the binding properties and demonstration of the flexibility and power of the language. Subsequent entries in this series will be published in the same blog once a week. The posts of another plan, of course, will not go anywhere.
