The largest Microsoft technology conference in Russia was attended by over 2,500 specialists from Russia and the CIS countries, as well as more than 50,000 people online.



The largest Microsoft technology conference in Russia, Tech - Ed Russia 2011, took place in Moscow. Over two days of work, more than 2,500 information technology specialists from different regions of Russia and the CIS countries attended 160 reports in 15 tracks to learn about tools, technologies and solutions Microsoft. The key technological topics of the conference were cloud computing and mobile technologies:



Private cloud



Microsoft private cloud solutions were presented as part of a separate track where event attendees got acquainted with new products - System Center 2012 and Windows Server 8.



Public cloud



The public cloud reports covered in detail the architecture of the Windows Azure cloud platform, the principles of creating cloud applications based on the Microsoft platform and the use of the Azure SQL cloud database, as well as the key scenarios of Office 365 as a collaboration platform in the cloud.



Windows Phone Mobile Platform



The conference participants got acquainted with the details of developing mobile applications for Windows Phone, as well as with the plans for the development of the Microsoft mobile platform.



Also at the conference the following topics were discussed in detail: databases, business analytics, software development languages ​​and tools, application and system architecture, solutions based on the Microsoft Office platform, information security, IT infrastructure management, foundations for building an enterprise IT infrastructure, unified communications , optimization of client jobs, Microsoft Dynamics solutions, the practice of applying IT technologies to solve business problems.



Laboratory work, certification exams, demonstration area



During the Tech ∙ Ed Russia 2011 conference, participants were offered 36 laboratory work, they were given the opportunity to pass Microsoft certification exams for free, the Xbox and Kinect entertainment zone worked.



In addition, as part of the conference, a demonstration zone of private cloud technologies was deployed, which in the production mode served the laboratory work of the conference. Participants were able to personally verify the reliability, performance and scalability of Microsoft solutions: the entire IT infrastructure of the event was deployed in a mini data center (DPC) right on the conference site.

At the Tech ∙ Ed Russia 2011 conference, participants were also able to attend the Microsoft Expo, which presented the latest Microsoft products and solutions and more than 30 partners of the company.
