As stated in the title, we have a contest for you. BIG competition.
The prize fund is more than 1 million rubles, among the prizes - 3D TVs, a trip to Korea and trainings in the largest R & D centers.

The name of the competition is “LG APPs Contest”
Briefly about the main thing: the competition is addressed to private software developers and development companies.
Competitive task: to make the original (useful / funny / convenient / beautiful) application for our platform of "smart television» LG Smart TV (read about it here ).
What will be this application - whether it will be a service, content provider, game or anything else - you decide!
Prizes:
1st place - a trip (5 days, for two people) to the headquarters of LG Electronics in Seoul, meeting with leading experts of the R & D laboratory + LG CINEMA 3D SMART TV LED TV (series LW650S).
2nd place - training in the R & D laboratory of LG Electronics in Moscow or St. Petersburg + LED TV LG CINEMA 3D SMART TV (series LW650S).
3rd place - LED TV LG CINEMA 3D SMART TV (LW650S series). Participants in the LG Apps competition, whose applications will take places from the 4th to the 10th, will receive certificates of honor, and their applications will be published in LG Apps worldwide.
How to become a participant of the competition:
Step 1. To participate in the contest “LG Apps Contest” before December 20, 2011, you must register on the Competition website, as well as on the LG Developer Lounge website.
Step 2. Next you need to download the SDK, developed by us. You can download it from the site LG Developer Lounge . Based on the contest information and the SDK, you need to create an application that is compatible and ready for use by owners of LG Smart TV devices (TVs, Blu-ray players, home theaters, etc.)
Step 3. Up to December 20, 2011, archive the application files and download it with descriptive documentation to the Contest website for the first round.

Dates of the competition
The competition is held in two stages.
The first stage is the acceptance of entries.
Acceptance of entries will last until December 20, 2011 inclusive.
According to its results, the finalists will be selected - 10 teams (participants) who have scored the maximum number of points on the rating scale (about her slightly below).
The second stage is the final.
It takes place from December 20, 2011 to January 15, 2012.
The 10 finalists who scored the most points should upgrade their applications to the state of a commercial launch with the help of LG engineers. After that, the jury team will re-evaluate among 10 applications of finalists (again, according to the rating scale).
Announcement of the winners - January 30, 2012.
Winners Awarding Ceremony - February 10, 2012.
How will the winners be determined?
Each application of the participants of the competition will be reviewed by the jury of the competition (12 people). The composition of the jury can be found here .
The rating scale will be applied to each application (marks are given by each jury member):
According to the results of voting, each application - the participant of the competition will be awarded a total score, which will determine the prize place of the application.
