Casting ideas for the Moscow Informatization Plan for 2012

Just over a month ago, the Moscow Government conducted a survey among developers on how the information infrastructure of the city should be developed ( habratopic about Roadmap ). This time I have the honor to publish the results of this survey and some of the plans that became its consequence. In order not to pour water, I will simply quote a letter from the spokesperson of the Information Technology Department of the city of Moscow, Elena Novikova, which I received last week.

I am pleased to invite you, your colleagues and friends, including those from Habr, to take part in the casting of ideas for the Moscow informatization plan for 2012, which we spend here dit.mos.ru/ideas until December 1. The best projects will get a chance to be realized throughout the city and will be able to qualify for budget financing. By making the process of approving a plan public, we are trying to equalize the chances of large lobbyists and small, but very dynamic and innovative groups of developers who cannot always reach us in a normal situation. And of course, we would not like to lose sight of any new trends and technologies that could become “game changers” for urgent urban problems.

We also do not forget open data. Thanks to the survey that you announced on Habré, we collected enough representative data on the desires and priorities of the developers and drew up an action plan (there is in this presentation http://www.slideshare.net/DITMoscow/open -data-9784819 ).

Thank you for your cooperation, I am waiting for a response regarding a meeting with our expert on mobile platforms.

Respectfully,
Elena Novikova,
