The MPAA and RIAA organizations have published lists of sites, primarily under the anti-piracy law SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act), which is currently being followed in the US House of Representatives.
The
list of MPAA contains a number of torrent sites (including ThePirateBay.org, Rutracker.org, IsoHunt.com and Demonoid.me), file hosting and streaming sites (Megaupload.com, VKontakte, etc.), sites with links and newsgroups Usenet.
The RIAA
list is different: it does not contain Rutracker.org, and the Russian websites Vkontakte and Odnoklassniki are mentioned separately as having certain “functions” that “deliberately and effectively violate the law”.

Recall that SOPA removes protection from websites on which users themselves post pirated content, including links. In addition, the law allows, at the request of the RIAA, that is, in the pretrial order, to take action against foreign sites - to disable financial services (Visa, Paypal, Google advertising network), exclude them from search engines, block access at the ISP-provider level, etc. d.
