When Google released Street View in May, it seemed like the entire Internet had gone a little crazy.
It turns out that something similar was available as far back as 1907. Images Rand-McNally " photo auto " were printed images with annotations and directional arrows and showed the road from Detroit to Toledo in the United States, which Google overtook by exactly one century. This suggests that Web 2.0 is not always ahead of its time. Sometimes you need to access the Web 0.01 ... Well, something like that :)
