Mobile version of 2GIS appeared in the OVI Store

2GIS became closer to the owners of Nokia and after the Android Market appeared on the OVI Store . Now you can download the mobile version for Symbian here . Of course, downloading via 2gis.ru is still available.



Our first release on OVI is designed for two smartphones: Nokia C7-00 and Nokia N8-00. In the future, we plan to expand the list of supported Symbian devices. If your phone is not listed yet, the version for it will probably be on our website .

The basic functionality remains the same. Mobile 2GIS:

• Does not require access to the Internet;
• Contains more than 1,127,000 companies in the directory;
• Displays a detailed 3D map;
• Helps to find the nearest organization and options for travel on public transport, taking into account pedestrian crossings.

Technical requirements of the mobile version:
The recommended amount of RAM in the device is at least 128 MB.

Operating system:
- Microsoft Windows Mobile: from 5.0 to 6.5;
- Symbian: Series60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 or 2, Series60 5th Edition, V3;
- Android 1.6 or higher.
