Google vs Yandex or Why is Google looking better?
Out of habit, I have been using Yandex for a long time, and with skepticism I used to perceive statements that Google is looking better, even in the Russian-language segment - after all, Yandex always found me what it needed. Until I started to compare. The most recent example: yesterday I posted on Habré in the Sony Ericsson corporate blog a review of the new phone.
Today I scored it in the search engines, look:
However, there is a spoon of honey. I checked yesterday's post about updating Xperia to Android 4.0 by the most popular according to Yandex version request "Xperia update". Here, both Yandex and Google give yesterday’s post on the first page.
Hence the conclusion: neither Yandex nor Google have problems with the indexing of fresh content. But our ranking is clearly worse, and this is just one specific example - I have already come across this many times before; today's case is just an illustration.

What is the cause of the problems - in a less perfect algorithm or in a more littered issuer? It is quite possible that Yandex, struggling with the cheating, splashed out the child along with the water - under the filters, high-quality content, which, in theory, it should be looking for, cut seo-garbage. To say after this that Yandex is shit is, of course, impossible. Differences do not "work-does not work", but at the level of nuances. But competition for that and competition to compare - Google works out the same themes more qualitatively.
