I want to talk about the start-up competition from Oracle and the ThinkQuest Road Show, which will be held on November 17 at 19:00 in St. Petersburg, ITMO on Kronversky prospect 49.

There are several nominations in ThinkQuest, but we are only interested in one “Application Development” in which it is necessary to develop your project as part of a team (up to 6 people) and submit it to the competition jury. Of the limitations, it is worth noting the age of the participants (up to 22 years) and the obligatory presence of a university teacher in the team, but he will be the seventh in the team.
Despite the fact that the competition from Oracle - no one limits the tools, you can use everything you can reach =)
The deadline for submitting their projects is April 25, 2012.
What kind of buns can you carry? =)
Let's start with the winners - the first three places will get a chance to walk along the red carpet on ThinkQuest Live, taking place in San Francisco, and they will get there at the expense of Oracle.
Also among the prizes for the winners are laptops and cash grants for educational institutions. Anyone over 18 years old and taking the first 10% of the places can apply for an internship to the Oracle Education Foundation.
ThinkQuest - this is some opportunity for young teams to run their ideas on the court of the international jury.

As already stated above, the event will take place at ITMO (Kronversky Avenue 49) on November 17 at 19:00 with the participation of the Oracle educational program manager in Russia and the CIS, as well as with the participation of the invited guest - Oracle Academy EMEA Director Sophie Bouresche.
At the meeting, the participants will be told in detail about the competition, its goals, tasks - registration of teams will be opened
