Kinecthesia - technology in the service of blind people

Two students at the University of Pennsylvania, Jeff Kisk and Eric Berdinis, figured out how to use Kinekt to help blind people. They connected it to the motors located on the belt, which vibrate when there are obstacles ahead: the closer the barrier, the stronger the recoil. Thanks to this, blind people can navigate in space.

Currently, Jeff and Eric are working on the second version of the project, since in the current version the controller is also placed on the belt, which is not very convenient due to its size. As it became known, several representatives of venture capital funds have already met with them, but there are no final data on the negotiations yet.

Well, it remains only to hope that this project will go to the masses, and thousands of blind people will become a little easier.
