A set of PHD CTF Quals / Afterparty teams opens.

The set of teams for the selection competitions of the Information Security Forum Positive Hack Days starts . This year, everyone can try their hand at the qualifying round: CTF Quals or CTF Afterparty . All participants will try their hand at assessing security, searching for and exploiting vulnerabilities, performing reversing tasks and simply hacking. Moreover, the struggle will take place in conditions as close as possible to the combat ones: the vulnerabilities used in the PHD CTF Quals and CTF Afterparty are not invented, but are found in “living nature”.

On December 10 and 11 in the first round - PHD CTF Quals - the best teams will be selected who will take part in the PHD CTF final in May. From December 12 to 25, the competition will continue in the individual competition: the brightest participants in PHD CTF Afterparty 2011 will receive diplomas from Positive Technologies and personal invitations to the PHD forum to be held in Moscow in May 2012. And this is a unique communication, competitive program and a lot of emotions.

The main competition will be held May 30-31, 2012 in Moscow during the Second International Forum on Information Security Positive Hack Days.
