After a series of rumors and teasers, Asus did introduce its new creation - ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime with Nvidia Tegra 3 on board, a powerful 4-core nuclear processor. Earlier, Asus was planning to start releasing a tablet on November 9, but due to the release of a new version of Android, they decided to postpone the release until December in order to supply the tablet with the fourth version of Android.
What and how:
Nvidia Tegra 3 is a powerful processor with 4 cores, with a frequency of 1.3GHz each. The tablet has 1GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal.
The touch screen has a diagonal of 10.1 and a resolution of 1200 by 800 pixels. The tablet is enclosed in an aluminum case with a thickness of 8.3mm and weighs 586g.

Eee Pad Transformer Prime has two cameras: front, with a resolution of 1.2 megapixels, and the rear, with a resolution of 8 megapixels, which allows you to record video in 1080p format. Also included in the tablet are such "toys" as a GPS module, an acceleration and lighting sensor, an electronic compass and a gyroscope.
The device has an excellent SonicMaster sound system, as well as a micro HDMI output. A 25 watt-hour battery provides up to 12 hours of operation.
Dock station:

When connected to the docking station, the user is naturally provided with a keyboard, a touchpad, a USB 2.0 port, and a card reader. The docking station will also extend the battery life to 18 hours.

Price:
The tablet can be purchased for
$ 499 for the version with 32GB of internal memory, and
$ 599 for the version with 64GB of internal memory, respectively.
However, for the docking station you will have to pay another
$ 149 .
In my opinion, the price for a tablet with such characteristics is very tasty, and I am sure ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime will be very popular.
