Today we have prepared some surprises. First, surely everyone was waiting for something with the numbers "12" in the title. But we decided to go after all in a more evolutionary way and at the moment we are offering the first beta number 11.60. Secondly, despite this, many things, preparing for version 12, are already presented in today's release. And thirdly, in today's beta there is something to see, drive in the field conditions of real Internet activity. And we begin with the fact that in plain sight. Of course - the interface.
No, do not rush to drink validol or sit down on a chair - we did not prepare any new revolutionary interface (although, of course, how to see it). Quite familiar to the 11 line interface, but it has become better, better. Our developers spent a lot of time polishing it first with a file, and then with fine sandpaper, and at the moment there is a “edinichka” or even “nulevochka”. In general, if you find where the small roughness - be sure to inform, we will correct the release.
But, perhaps, the developers of the mail client have bothered the most - it has become just another. Quite different.

I will not delay you with a long description - you can try and evaluate everything yourself.
Another innovation is that the tips of the address bar have changed again: they have become more accurate, informative and simply convenient. See for yourself:

In the same address bar, an “asterisk” appeared (in fact, it returned after almost five years of oblivion), allowing you to more conveniently work with bookmarks, both new and already existing.
That's all. In the sense - with the interface. However, I will not be tormented by waiting - so many changes have occurred in the guts of the Opera browser, that their description will have to be put up in a
separate post . Wait for it in a few minutes. In the meantime, you can download and install a new beta to familiarize yourself with the technological innovations you have had not only theoretically, but also experimentally.
Traditionally, you can download new beta from the
official website of Opera .
Lists of changes in the new version are
here .
ATTENTION!Putting this beta on top of a stable version is strictly not recommended. If you still insist on yours - please backup all important data. And remember that after the transition to the new version of the mail client, a
return to the old one is impossible .
Please report all bugs and shortcomings to the
previous address .
