A small report on this event and upcoming events - under the cut.

Three days of the conference were devoted to topical issues of e-mail newsletters both in Russia and in the western market. For people who only discovered this marketing niche, the basics of professional mailing were taught.

Among the speakers were gathered both representatives of the largest Russian companies and guests from abroad. In particular, the lectures were given by Kath Pay and Tamara Gielen (
Plan to Engage , UK), whose consulting services were used by companies such as Microsoft, DHL, Booking.com:

Artem Kukharenko (Emailmatrix) made predictions on the topic of future email marketing in Russia:

Jane-Stephane Bagoe (IntellegentEmails, France) explained how a good advertising campaign begins:

Artur Bernovsky (Mailigen.com, Latvia) showed how to achieve a viral effect in an email newsletter:

Sergey Martynov (Pochtov Obsemya), as a representative of the largest Russian postal service, reminded senders about how to adequately keep in the eyes of both subscribers and mailers, while elaborating on the technical part of setting the optimal sending speed:

From the report of Vyacheslav Kolomeyev (Mailigen.com, Latvia) "Analysis of the results of mailing", students learned by what criteria it is possible to evaluate the effectiveness of an advertising campaign and how Google Analytics can serve for this:

Our colleague Alexey Kachalov told how to get the attention of customers who have not made a purchase for a long time:

Elizaveta Grudinkina (Mailersoft) reminded about how important it is to pay attention to the design of letters for mobile devices - the number of users by e-mail among their owners has grown one and a half times in the last year:

At the conference, the question of sms mailing was also raised: Andrey Burmus (Epochta) told about them in his report:

Great interest was aroused by Sergey Mitrofanov’s (BRANDFLIGHT) master class on the topic “User Loyalty Management”:

Also, Evgeny Troitsky (Emailmatrix), Olga Pavlova (UsabilityLab), Evgeny Ryzhov (Begun), Svetlana Shishkova (E-xecutive) presented their reports.
The event ended with the presentation of the company DirectList by the organizer of the conference - Alexander Nosach. DirectList is a service that provides address databases for companies that are going to start sending out, but have not yet formed an audience of subscribers:

In their free time, the conference participants did not miss: the ferry was a real floating entertainment complex, with restaurants, a nightclub and a cinema. In addition, volunteers could walk through Tallinn and Stockholm.
