Panasonic's new Toughpad security tablets

Panasonic produces excellent versions of ultra-secure laptops and tablets. Reviews of such devices more than once and not two were laid out on Habré, and in some cases the degree of protection of the devices is such that it causes even distrust. Whatever it was, but the devices are really able to withstand water, shock, low and high temperature, dust and much more. Now Panasonic has released just two new models of tablets Panasonic Toughpad.

Model number one, which has the working title Toughpad A1, received a display with a diagonal of 10 inches and a resolution of 1024 * 768. Plus, here we have a Marvell dual-core processor, 16 GB of memory available to the user. There is also support for the necessary types of wireless communications, including LTE (3GPP Long Term Evolution) or WiMAX (here the user can choose which particular communication module he needs).

Android 3.0 works as an OS here, which is not surprising. From one battery charge, the device is able to work for about 10 hours, this is an excellent result.

As for the second model, Toughpad B1, there is no data about it, except that the device’s display will be seven-inch. True, it is likely that this is the main difference between A1 and B1. Both models were created according to the military standard MIL-STD-810G. This means that the plates are dust-moisture-vibration-proof and are not afraid of falls and bumps. The cost of the basic A1 model will be about $ 1,300, but the price will still be refined. And the device will enter the market in 2012.
