One of the main events in the field of information technology of the city of Krasnoyarsk "
IT Convention 2011 " has ended. How did it end? Let's watch.
At once I will make a reservation that I have been visiting an IT convention for a very long time. I remember all his changes of formats, places, speakers and buns. Each time it is transformed into something new, trying to find its niche, namely its listener. This year was no exception in any way. The format returned to a greater emphasis on reports (there was an exhibition last year), the place also became closer (but with Wi-Fi), among the speakers appeared professionals from our cool MCP club, and the buns became more rich and tasty.
As always, the game zones were in great demand. The guys shot each other in the immortal game of CS, the girls timidly waved their hands to control Kinect games, you could also drive races and various Xbox 360 games. ! From the side it looks very funny, from the inside - it's pretty hard to focus :)

We were pleased with some partners of the event. They stood out for their quality work, handed out cool presents.
And now a little about sad things. Traditionally low for Krasnoyarsk was the level of reports. I visited a pretty decent amount of any IT-events, I myself was the organizer of one of them. And everywhere one problem - not technical specialists are invited to speak, but PR specialists. And it is very annoying to those students and senior people from IT who come to the exhibition to get new knowledge and chips from their field. A great reason to think of all involved, something can be done with this problem.
Not without some technical problems. It is clear that even the largest events sometimes do without this, but it is also worth considering when organizing the next event.
I know the organizers personally, very much support their projects. Therefore, I would like to wish them “to find their own format”, to make this conference the most significant and valuable for all the IT-residents of Krasnoyarsk. And in no case be disheartened. It is better to hear about your shortcomings and correct them, than to make mistakes every year, blindly believing that everything is super :)
PS Thanks for the photo Sergey Chivikov.
