Anonymous didn’t do anything with Facebook, passing a person who was planning to "destroy" the social network.
The most interesting is that no one was going to do anything except one person. Let me remind you that back in July and August, a lot of news appeared with a message about the plans of Anonymous to destroy Facebook. It is clear that many people reacted to this with a certain degree of skepticism, and a little later Anonymous themselves declared that there were no plans to attack social network No. 1. At the end of the summer, the group stated that a message with the intention of attacking Facebook was published by a certain part of the community, which the majority did not support. Now it turned out that this “certain part” is just one person.
Anonymous was told that no one is going to show any hostility towards a resource serving the community as a “window to the world”. Moreover, Anonymous against the attack of the social network, and said that they would fight with the person / people who try to oppose anything to community activity on Facebook or any other social network. Video published by the community in August
Without thinking twice, the community gave out all the contact details of a person named Anthony, who, according to the representatives of the group, started the whole show. Anonymous published all the real data of Anthony, including his name, address and telephone number. One can only imagine how many calls this person will receive in the next couple of weeks.
Anthony, in turn, also made a response statement, saying that he had not planned anything like that, but had just created the information page OpFacebook (operation Facebook). On this page, Anthony published information received from other members of the community who planned the attack. Someone there at Anonymous decided that it was Anthony who was behind the plans to "destroy" Facebook. As a result, the group published all the data of Anthony, to whom, whether he is guilty or not, it will take a lot of patience to withstand the entire barrage of calls and emails.
