Meeting users Sphinx search '11
Considering the number of people who came to last year's Sphinx conference in Moscow, the Sphinx command decided to hold a second, now annual, meeting of Sphinx users. This time, the entire Sphinx team will meet in St. Petersburg to meet with those who arrive at 143 Moskovsky Prospect by 11 am at the Lengiprotrans conference hall on Sunday, December 4th.
Why come?
First of all, in order to listen to how shodan (founder, main developer and ideologist of the Sphinx search engine) will talk about his brainchild as he alone is able to. Already one of his speech seems to me to be a sufficient reason to get to the Elektrosila metro station on Sunday, but it will not be there alone. The guys from avito.ru will talk about how to live with high loads, our comrades from Ivinco will share their experience of using Sphinx in their work.
In addition, we will tell you what we have done over the last year and what are our plans. We will publish a full list of reports on the conference page .

Leaving aside the reports themselves, participation in the meeting will give the participant a rare opportunity to talk to the Sphinx team: developers, support engineers, consultants and get answers to their questions first-hand.
Anyone who uses or only plans to try the Sphinx, I would highly recommend to visit this event. It is quite possible that after Peter, this conference will not return to Russia soon.
