What do you mean where? - search from 2GIS in your browser

?
Surely many of you had to look for the opening hours of a small shop, or the address of the nearest coffee shop, or the phone number of the Spanish embassy, for example.
Someone uses for these purposes the usual search engines, and someone - special directories, like 2GIS (based on the API of which, by the way, we did our service).

In general, we thought that it would be nice to have such a reference book always at hand. And made extensions for all of our favorite browsers (Chrome, Firefox and Opera). We hope that they will be useful to someone.

It all started with the fact that the company 2GIS launched an open API to search for organizations, on the basis of which you can make your services. Moreover, they promise to pay a little more. And long before that, I myself often thought, why would not 2GIS make extensions for browsers, that would be so convenient. And then, since this opportunity turned up, it was decided to do everything ourselves.
')
We present to your attention the very first version of the service, which consists of an online version and a set of extensions similar to it as twin brothers. Functional while at the minimum, when they started to do - in the API, except for the search, by and large, nothing happened. In the near future - to make a rubricator, an interactive map with search results, an indication of the location for searching nearby, and many other goodies.

Software implementation deserves a separate post, and we will write it a little later.

Now we really need your feedback. Comments, suggestions, suggestions, criticism, all this is very welcome.
