So, the
Opera Startup Awards competition that lasted for more than six months was successfully completed. Let me remind you that one of the main tasks of the competition was to help young talented developers to create real projects with good commercial prospects based on Opera Software technologies. As a result, Opera Startup Awards fully met expectations: the teams showed good results, some projects launched their services into real work, while one of the participating teams was even able to make a small profit from the work of their service in test mode before the final.

1 placeGood Roads (St. Petersburg) - a map service that collects information about the quality of road surface based on data from mobile devices.
2nd placeE-Cook (Krasnodar) is a service for online ordering food at a restaurant (“electronic menu”) or at home.
3rd placeThey divided the two teams:
Kwenda (Moscow) is a travel planning service that answers the question, for example, “How to get from Murmansk to Vladivostok and see the most interesting along the way?”
proFeedback (St. Petersburg) is a browser extension that allows users to publicly comment and rate any site, linking short text messages to websites as a whole or to individual pages.
In addition, the teams that most actively used Opera technologies in their projects received money grants from Opera Software, which they can spend on developing their services. In this nomination, the places were distributed as follows:
