Pereposty or copying posts with attribution became something common for us and we rarely think about how unsafe it can be, or just do not know at all that this way we can be subjected to a deface attack.
Another confirmation was the
case (carefully, a lot of politics) with a blog of one girl. She decided to post a copy-paste
message from a live avf journal user, which gives recommendations on how to avoid problems with the transition to winter time.
The girl simply copied the user's message and quietly went to bed. However, the author of the original message saw that she left a link that leads to the image of the original posted on his blog. Because of personal hostility (we will lower political dismantlings aside) the author of the initial image decided to annoy the girl and replaced the initial image. As a result, a completely different picture began to show off on the girl's blog, for which she must have flown well.

I decided to check out a couple of posts of my friends from a friend tape. Many do not change the links to the original images, moreover, the function of the repost contains exactly the same ability to deface attacks, the images lead to the originals.
ps. It’s good that placing a picture on a Habré leads to a haraeffect and all the pictures have to be uploaded to habrastorage. A kind of defense against attacks.
