Sly Japanese can be used throughout. Or they can at least think that one or another of their inventions will be applicable in practice. However, the next “invention” may be quite useful to people with disabilities. Controlling the player or the microwave by squeezing the jaws? You are welcome! The signal for the compression of the jaws will be removed directly from the temples.

As a result of the study of the idea of creating another IT device for people with physical disabilities, this “device” came into being (what else to call it?). This is a “bandage”, with the help of which infrared sensors are fixed on the head, which fix the tension of the temporal muscles, which occurs at the moment when the operator clenches the molars. Further simple: the researchers taught the computer to analyze the signal and to distinguish the conscious compression-command from unintentionally clenching the jaws, for example, during a conversation or quite intentionally during a meal.
Already at the moment, the device is able to turn on and off various devices (a CD player was used in the tests). But, of course, scientists are not going to stop at what they have achieved and plan to adapt dental gnash to transfer a wide range of commands: cell phone manipulations, wheelchair management, etc.

I really don’t know how promising this is even a completely unrefined invention. Honestly, I would not bet on the mass distribution of dental manipulators. But, on the other hand, if nature or an accident and so fuck up someone's life, then grasping any way to make this life easier and more convenient is definitely worth it.
