Hi, Habr! On the 15th of October, I ordered the
Sansa Clip + player from an eBay online auction and have since waited for a package, tracking it daily by tracking number.

It all started with standard things - a rather long import (5 days), customs tracking was updated for another 3 days. By the way, the package goes from Israel.
But what happened today doesn’t climb into any gate - I saw that the parcel was handed to the addressee, and the address, to put it mildly, does not look like mine.

First of all, I called the mail hotline (to my surprise, I phoned on the first attempt), where I was told that this could be a mistake, and was advised to contact my branch of the Russian Post and clarify - if they don’t have a package - write an application for search international departure. Unfortunately, mail is not working today and I cannot clarify today.
')
I would like to find out from those who have come across such a thing how realistic it is to prove something - because if the package was actually handed over to someone, then the search for the item will not give anything at all. If this is really a mistake - I want to turn to the Russian Post: “Stop living in the Stone Age and update the tracking manually - it's time to automate the process so that no such problematic situations arise regarding your customers.”
UPD: Fortunately, the worst fears were not confirmed - it was just an unpleasant jamb of mail that made you nervous. Today, on Halloween night, at 3:53, the parcel left the place of international exchange and, I hope, goes to the post office 644031.
