Engineers of the Japanese corporation Hitachi have developed a very interesting concept of a device combining a scanning device, a system of mirrors and an LCD display, which displays a three-dimensional image in the form of a hologram. It should be noted that something like this Hitachi has already developed three years ago. The concept at that time was a device capable of scanning an object from 24 different angles in real time and projecting the final image onto a rapidly rotating screen. At this time, the developers decided to abandon the moving parts as much as possible and replaced the screen with an LCD display, to which the picture is displayed.
The company itself has stated that it does not intend to launch something similar in mass production. Say, the device was created exclusively for experimental and scientific purposes. However, Hitachi still does not exclude that such a device will appear, say, in schools and museums.
