TechCranch - not idiocy

In my previous topic, “Challenge for Bootstrappers,” I mentioned the upcoming Startup Battle at the second Russian TechCrunch conference, which will be held in Moscow on December 5th.

One of the comments was categorical: “In TechCrunch words, everything can be finished. I’m stupid to go to this cesspool. ”I won’t say for the whole TechCrunch, but Startup Battle is definitely not idiotic.

Why?
I will answer.

The TechCrunch conference is almost completely oriented to the West. The Westerner is leading this conference, Westerners are also sitting on the Startup Battle jury. Starting with Mike Butcher, editor-in-chief of TechCrunch's European blog, and continuing with Westerners from investment funds. In the hall among the Russian spectators, too, representatives of Western foundations are quietly sitting, who come to the conference to understand what is happening in mysterious Russia.

If the speaker start-up will be liked by Mike and he will write about him on TehKranche, then a bunch of other Western investors will find out about the author of the project. If the speaker startups like someone from representatives of Western foundations, then you have the opportunity to talk with him in more detail right on the spot.

This is an awesome chance, which many start-ups dream of - getting soaked in front of Mike Butcher and several dozens of Western foundations. But all good things will happen only in the event that any of them really like the startup. And if this does not happen, then TehKranch blame for this - this is really idiocy.

So it all depends on you.

So, on December 5, Moscow, TechCranch conference, Startup Battle, chance. Applications for participation should be sent to idea@glavstart.ru with the topic “TechCranch”.

Only startups that have at least a prototype are accepted for the battle, so the best chance to make it through to December 5, by the way, is for bootstrappers.
