Designer Comments

Interface design is a process of continuous improvement. And recently we launched the first version of the new interface.
The change affected everything - and appearance, and logic, and internal services. Therefore, I will immediately note that support for previous versions is not planned.
Of course, the new panel will have to become familiar, try out, get used to. But it is worth it - now the first step has been taken towards the complete renewal of the Selectel services, which means that the panel will change, new technologies will later accelerate its development.

About development

At the moment, the development team is actively engaged in services with a higher priority. Therefore, the development of the new panel involved 2 people: design, design and layout - goodsprite , all the functionality - the programmer, in his spare time from priority tasks.
The panel is wrought to HTML5 using the Compass framework and SCSS. IE is supported, but don't expect much from it.

About the interface

For a start, a full cap and basement appeared in the panel.
In the header, in addition to information about your balance, data about services will be displayed, now there is information for cloud users.
In the basement are collected the necessary links and contact information.
Under the header also appeared navigation menu, it will help you navigate, within any page.

Menu

Yes, we deliberately redraw the menu. Not to confuse you, but to streamline you. First your data, then services, payments, services and tickets. Try it, and get into the necessary sections with time will become easier. In the future, the menu will become more flexible and will adapt to your needs.

Convenience

We have tried to simplify access to the necessary information for you. Reworked dashboards, service sections, tickets, cloud panel has acquired new features.
The interface has tabs that simplify access to subsections.
In the expected places there were buttons for quickly adding new services, for example, domains or virtual machines.
Simplified registration process, which previously required some effort and motivation. Now, to start using the panel, just enter the email and the code from the image.

Design

goodsprite deliberately tried to facilitate the appearance. Selectel is a company providing a large number of services, and my task was to simplify this abundance, while adding new functionality.
In the course went all the artillery, including the clarification of colors. However, as I have already mentioned, the panel will develop and, taking into account the wishes of users already received (for example, adding contrast), will acquire its appearance.

The first step has been taken, then - only more, better and more convenient.
