The WikiLeaks project has stopped work on the publication of American secret (and not so) documents. The reason for this is pretty banal - running out of money. The site’s activities cost about $ 3.5 million a year, which is spent on the actual support of the site and on getting these same documents. Payment systems blocked about 40-50 million dollars of voluntary donations. In September, an attempt was made to somehow improve the situation - 10 items from WikiLeaks were put up for sale on eBay, starting from a photo of Julian Assange and ending with a computer from which correspondence was published. Apparently, these actions could not help improve the financial condition of the project. Given that Julian Assandzh himself, the former head of WikiLeaks, is now under investigation, the project has run out of money, and its participants sometimes cannot agree with each other ...
