Blog promotion - 11 tips
Surprisingly, people turn to me and ask: "Tell me as a blogging guru, how to promote a blog?". Ha! What kind of guru is there? I just study myself. :) But already achieved something, right? :) I answer: write interesting posts - this is 90% of success. Everything! :) Well, or almost everything.
May 5, 2007 I published the first post . I had no idea how I would promote a blog. There were only intuitive ideas about this, and they were confirmed in practice. Already a thousand times it has been said about the promotion of a blog , but I will write how I popularize it, which I advise you.
1. Write interesting and relevant posts ... What will be interesting to your readers? Probably the same thing that interests you.

2. Read blogs of similar topics and leave reasonable “kamenty” there, it encourages the blog owner and his readers to come to you at a light and learn more about you.
3. If you really think that your post deserves public attention, feel free to promote it in the forums where you communicate . Forums like this , this and this give a good “exhaust”.
4. Post your posts here and here . There is still this , this and this , but the profiles needed are “pumped up” in “Habré” and “Derti” in order to have the right to publish there.
5. Do you have contacts in ICQ? I have more than 200 people on the list already (many of them have even more, I know people who have 1000 or more contacts in “ICQ”, horror!). :) Why not share the link with them?
6. Write regularly! It is not difficult, actually. Half an hour a day can be given to your offspring, because you love him, right?
7. Do not forget about search engines and blog rankings. It is necessary that the blog is in the index here , here , here and here .
8. Buy a separate domain, normal hosting and put a normal engine, for example WordPress . This contributes not only to fast indexing in search engines, but also to the prestige and recognition of your blog.
9. Be open, positive, responsive and optimistic. In other words: “be simple - and the people will reach out to you”.
10. Do not forget to respond to comments in your blog.
11. Refer to other bloggers , and they will link to you, even if you did not ask.
