Microsoft has signed up on deductions for more than half of Android devices.

Microsoft continues to sign licensing agreements with manufacturers of Android devices. The Taiwanese company Compal , one of the largest ODM collectors of smartphones and tablets with a production volume of $ 28 billion a year, has become the next licensee who agreed to pay deductions from each device.

This is the ninth agreement in the last four months and the tenth in total. It looks like Microsoft is not going to stop there. Here’s what an Android attack looks like in a schematic view.

After signing Compal, deductions to Microsoft will be transferred from more than half of all Android devices sold on the global market. In the US market for Android devices, Microsoft’s share rose to 53%, HTC and Samsung provide the lion’s share.
