By the decision of Judge Dale Kimball, in the Novell vs SCO case, it was decided that all rights to Unix and UnixWare are owned by Novell. Now, SCO is obliged to abandon its claims to IBM and Sequent, and pay Novell a lot of money.
The news is pleasant enough, but I feel a little uneasy, because of Novell's affairs with Microsoft, will this not be a dangerous event for all unix-systems.
