Team Street View shot mountain panoramas, driving through the Alps by train
It is unlikely that anyone would have complained about such a trip: a team of Google employees recently traveled through the Swiss Alps to photograph the Albula-Bernina line, considered to be one of the most scenic railway routes in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The route, famous for its mountain scenery, runs from the Swiss municipality of Thusis through St. Moritz to the Italian border in Tirano. Panoramas made with the support of the Rethian railway will soon appear on Google Maps.
To create photos, the Google team installed a trike on the platform in front of the train - a tricycle with a camera system on top. Cameras took pictures in nine different directions, which are now connected in 360-degree views. ')
While Google is completing the panorama, you can see the photos from the trip itself .
