Recently, the author of the Riva Tuner program, which is well-known among video card owners from NVidia , Alexey Nikolaichuk ( Unwinder ), announced the discontinuation of development. He argues his decision by banal tiredness of work for which no one pays. After more than nine years of continuous development and the main support of the software product, Alex decided to take an indefinite vacation.

Perhaps this will encourage other programmers to create their own Riva Tuner counterparts, but without the experience Unwinder accumulated over the years, it will be very difficult at first.
