Qt on BlackBerry

Just yesterday, on Google+ on the #qt tag, I came across the news that Qt will be included in the official Native SDK for BlackBerry.

Here you can see the updated list of components included in it: blackberry.github.com/ndk/components.html

And even look at the photo from some RIM presentation:

According to the developers, QtCore and QtQuick modules are currently available. The port is based on the Lighthouse and the repository since yesterday is available at github.com/blackberry/Qt
')
This, by the way, confuses me - before that, all Qt related projects were located on gitorious.org . Does this mean that the developers of this port are not going to make merge-requests to the main Qt development branch? Although, on the other hand, such a move may be due only to the fact that all components of the BlackBerry SDK are hosted on github and so it is simply more convenient for them at the moment.

Additionally, you can make sure that the port is not a fake and you are working on it by looking at the source code of the BlackBerry plug-in itself: github.com/blackberry/Qt/tree/master/src/plugins/platforms/blackberry

Also at the moment it is not clear whether Qt Mobility will be ported and will add cross-build support and debugging for BlackBerry to Qt Creator.
