Today, within the framework of the opening of the Russian Internet week, the winners of the competition “Innovation Alley” were awarded. The main prize - a gift certificate for 200,000 rubles - co-organizer of the competition, the
Academy of Farminers projects , awarded the project
Tax . This is really a prize, we did not ask for either a share or an option, we just gave money to support the project.

Acquaintance of the Academy with the project began even before the competition - its author Sergey Tsabolov submitted an application for participation in the round table. Even then, academics became interested in the project. But for all its prospects, the project did not satisfy at least two of the main requirements of the Academy: orientation to the global market and mobile platforms. Therefore, it was not considered in the framework of the round table.
And yet, finding Taxation in the list of finalists of the “Walk of Innovations”, the academicians had little doubt who would be awarded the main prize. “The fact that we did not accept the project to ourselves does not mean that the market does not need it,” said Vsevolod Leonov during the presentation of the certificate. - Taxation is an important project that promotes tax and Internet literacy. It will help the development of Runet, but we will help him with money and not only. ”
“We are ready to support many promising ideas, and not only those that come to us in the incubator,” said the co-founder of the Academy, Alyona Vladimirskaya. - Recently, we launched the “$ 3,000 per prototype” program and have already funded one project. And it is equally important for us to participate in contests and support interesting startups. We are for the development of the Internet as a whole and we consider it right to promote projects in various fields, not only of priority for the Academy. ”
