Who is in charge here?



The second meeting in Minsk is organized by the association of developers “Web Standards” and the company LOVATA Group . On the account of the association "Web Standards" - a dozen of such meetings in big cities (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev, Riga), where professionals and those who are just going to become them, share opinions, experience and new ideas in the field of web technologies. LOVATA Group is a Belarusian web developer who pays serious attention to innovative technologies and actively implements them in their projects: it is thanks to the confident following of open web standards that the company acts as a co-organizer of Web Standards Days.

The company Opera Software is responsible for the organizational support of the meeting, and the Jobs.TUT.by and IT.TUT.BY projects are responsible for the informational.



What are we going to talk about?



First and foremost, about web applications and web interfaces: their development, debugging, mobile adaptation, code quality control, etc. The purpose of the meeting can be described as providing up-to-date and practical information to web professionals seeking to deepen their knowledge and improve your professional level.



How to get to the meeting?



To participate, you must submit an application by filling out the form on the official website. And do not believe that “free cheese is only in a mousetrap”: participation in our event is really completely free.



And what will be interesting there?



Everything will be interesting! Invited experts from companies such as Opera Software, Mail.Ru Group , SUP Fabrik and others, will share their own practical experience, offer effective solutions to pressing issues and tell you how best to apply modern web standards. Reports, by the way, will be exactly two times more than at the last Minsk meeting.



In preparation for the meeting, the “Browser War” competition, held jointly with the Mail.Ru Group, was launched , contest entries are accepted until 08:00 on October 24, Minsk time, and the results will be announced on the “Web Standards Days”. Do not forget to bring your laptop with you in order to take part in the Active Technologies competition, which will be announced during the meeting. Winners of all competitions will be awarded at the closing ceremony. In addition, the online store OZ.by will encourage the most active participants of the meeting - on Web Standards Days everyone will have the opportunity to express themselves.



For those who will not be able to attend the meeting, it is planned to organize an online broadcast of presentations by speakers.



What is the action plan?



The meeting will be held in the conference hall of the Johannes Rau Minsk International Educational Center at the address Gazeta Avenue, Building 11. The free wireless Internet access zone courtesy of Atlant Telecom will operate in the conference hall and the lobby of the center.
