Mobile Captcha - mCaptcha

Half a year ago, my friend and I started our SMS-sending service. The service has long been familiar to everyone, and, thanks to the clubs, with a very controversial reputation. Talk about it, especially on Habré, it makes no sense. Yes, and not about this now.

The SMS- project SMM-project is successfully functioning. But we decided not to stop there and create a number of practical tools for the use of SMS-gateway to simplify certain processes. We opened the API, giving developers the opportunity to integrate SMS-sending to their services, sites, programs. But they also decided to create a number of ready-made tools that are easy to use and do not require serious finishing.

And just a few days ago, the first of these tools was launched.


It has repeatedly published articles on the protection of sites from automated registrations, spam and bots. Captcha in the form of images with distorted characters with the days is becoming more vulnerable. The number of types of captcha , amenable to automated recognition more and more.

Even greater distortion and entanglement of the picture, of course, complicates the registration process in the first place for real users, obviously not playing the role of usability.

On large resources, they gradually introduce confirmation of actions on the site using a mobile phone. But for small resources, this function remained very difficult to implement, since it required the availability of an SMS gateway, contracts with mobile operators and other technical subtleties.

Seeing all this, we decided to create a service that makes the implementation of the so-called mobile captcha as easy as possible for any Internet resources.

The mCaptcha service that we launched does not require web developers to know the subtleties of sending SMS, or the need to install an SMS gateway. This part of the work is fully implemented on our side.

Installing mCaptcha on the site does not require much time, or outstanding knowledge of programming. The installation process includes only a few steps.
