On each of the mentioned in the material ultrabook you have already heard. Moreover - most likely seen. (We made preliminary reviews of absolutely every model). But after all, everything is relative. Therefore, the list of video participants included MacBook Air and Samsung 900X3A, also known as Samsung 9 series:
')
Macbook air
Once the thinnest laptop in the world was not an ultrabook. Although that year already almost completely meets all the requirements of Intel to this class of notebooks.
The current version of the Air is the third in a row. However, its main differences from the second - only in the filling. The second, in turn, differs from the first in a completely updated design.
The thinnest MacBook is notable for its aluminum case, glass touchpad, and backlit island keys.

ASUS UX21
ASUS is the only company that released not only the 13-inch, but also the 11.6-inch version of its ultrabook (it is called the UX21).
The UX31 is perhaps the most stylish of all ultrabooks and most closely resembles a MacBook Air: the case of the Taiwanese device is also made of a single piece of aluminum, and the touchpad is made of glass.

Acer Aspire S3
This novelty, thanks to the politics of the party and the stable love of the middle class for the brand’s laptops, promises to be the most popular of all ultrabooks.
The body of the S3 is made of a magnesium-aluminum alloy, but, unlike the UX31, is matte. The only serious disadvantage of this gadget - lowering the lid under its own weight - in the production version has disappeared.

Lenovo U300S
You can't call it an ultrabook right away, even if the handsome one: the U300S is deprived of, say, most ultrabooks with rounded and thinned edges of the case. The U300S is rather the thinner version of the IdeaPad U260.
Nevertheless, it is perfectly folded, its case is also aluminum, and the keys, from our point of view, are the best among all ultrabooks.

Toshiba Z830
The most stringent of all and, concurrently, the dream of a practical person. The case of the Z830 is made of magnesium, which allowed him to set a record in class: it is the thinnest and lightest ultrabook in the world.
The Z830 is the only one of all such laptops, the keyboard of which is equipped with a backlight, and is not afraid of spilled liquid. The touchpad Z830 is equipped with separate buttons. In addition, only on the Z830 case there are VGA connectors, an additional (third) USB and network port.

Samsung 900X3A
Despite the fact that the Samsung 9 series appeared long before the talk about ultrabooks began, this device is worthy of attention.
Koreans stuffed 900X3A with a mass of pleasant: a case of duralumin, an unusual appearance, super-bright display and exit from sleep mode for three seconds.

Prices
The final world and especially Russian prices for most ultrabooks have not yet been determined. But one of the main wishes of Intel - “up to $ 1000” - Acer and ASUS, at least in the States, met: the first will sell its S3 in the States for $ 900, and ASUS wants for the 11.6-Uy21 UX21 $ 999.
Some Russian online stores, by the way, have already begun to take pre-orders for ultrabooks. So Acer Aspire S3 with Core i5 and 320-gigabyte hard drive will cost 31,990 rubles. And for the ASUS UX31 with the same processor, but with a 128-gigabyte hard drive, they want 44,200 rubles.
